Plan spaces, relationships and layouts in one workspace

Adjacency Lab is a spatial planning workspace for architects, interior designers, planners and architecture students. The bubble diagram, the adjacency matrix, the layout and the space programme are four views of one project, so a change in any of them is a change in all of them.

• Bubble canvas: spaces sized by their area, arranged by a physics layout you can freeze at any point.
• Matrix canvas: the same spaces as an adjacency matrix, with relationship strengths that write straight back to the diagram.
• Layout canvas: room shapes at scale on a grid, for testing a plan before it becomes a plan.
• Sheet canvas: the space programme, areas and totals, ready to export as a presentation sheet or an Excel workbook.
